# TxtMate

TxtMate is a text editor built with the Godot Engine v4.6.1.

It was created from a simple idea: a writing tool should adapt to your workflow.

- New File → Ctrl + N

- Open File → Ctrl + O

- Save File → Ctrl + S

- Save As → Ctrl + Shift + S

- Close Window → Esc

- Quit → Ctrl + Q

- Undo → Ctrl + Z

- Redo → Ctrl + Shift + Z

- Cut → Ctrl + X

- Copy → Ctrl + C

- Paste → Ctrl + V

- Select All → Ctrl + A

- Find → Ctrl + F

- Find Next → F3

- Find Previous → Shift + F3

- New Line → Ctrl + J

- Move Line Up → Alt + Up

- Move Line Down → Alt + Down

- Toggle Comment → Ctrl + K

- Duplicate Line(s) → Ctrl + D

- Remove Line(s) → Ctrl + Shift + D

- Zoom In → Ctrl + Mouse Wheel Up

- Zoom Out → Ctrl + Mouse Wheel Down

- Add Caret Anywhere → Ctrl + Mouse Left Button

## Notification

Crash recovery: Unsaved files are saved to settings and restored on next launch

No confirmation dialog - user expects files to be restored after crash/restart

## System Requirements

- OS:      Windows 10/11 or Linux

- Storage: 200 MB available space

## How to Use

- Linux run:   `TxtMate.x86_64`

- Arm run:     `TxtMate.arm64`

- Windows run: `TxtMate.exe`
